Let’s just skip the explanations and excuses. Here I am! Here you are! It’s a beautiful thing!
I am feeling emotional over Downton Abbey. I started watching it with my sister a month ago after practically avoiding it for the last six years. When it first came out, I knew I would love it and that it would wreck my life if I had to wait a year at a time to see each new season. Now, all I have to worry about is how quickly I can get my hands on the next set of dvds!
My mind is blown because I caught a news story a couple of days ago about how the government is trying to make it illegal to abort babies based on gender. I thought the government had decided that unborn babies weren’t people and had no rights to life? How is it that they need protection against gender prejudice? Someone explain this to me.
I’m attempting to like Ernest Hemingway’s “Farewell to Arms” and having limited success. Am I supposed to like Lieutenant Henry? Cause he’s a jerk.
I’m writing a small devotional series based on John 4 (The Woman at the Well). It’s the theme for the Sel Rosé 2016 spring/summer collection. It’s an extremely rich and meaty passage! Any recommendations for good material written on John 4?
I have fallen in love with Kodaline (rhymes with “Caroline”). Anyone familiar with them? They’re an Irish band and they have that excellent alternative rock with a touch of folk sound. Yesterday, I probably listened to THIS song about 20 times. And then I found a version of it sung in acoustic on the streets of Paris and listened to that about 10 times (HERE).
Spring has been one of the most gorgeous ones I can remember. I am floored by everything outside my window.
All the blessings!
